In a short interlude from reviewing crime novels, here is some crime fiction news that I wanted to share with regular readers of this blog.
My own debut novel, In Bitter Chill, will be published by Faber in the summer of 2015. It’s the story of the kidnapping of two young girls in the late 1970s and the legacy it leaves for one of the children who is later found alive. It was an absolute joy to write a crime novel but I now appreciate the huge amount of work that writers put in to produce the books that I review on this blog. I intend to keep this website for crime fiction reviews but will add a page where I will give information on the book’s progress and events that I’ll be attending.
Faber’s press release is here.
I can’t think of a better home for the book and am delighted that they’ll be publishing me
