Crimepieces wishes all its readers and supporters a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Thank you for the time you’ve taken to visit and comment on this blog in 2012. It’s been wonderful to discuss crime fiction with old and new friends. I’m looking forward to an equally interesting and stimulating 2013.

Monday night I ate so much I couldn’t move, lots of fun. Tuesday I stayed home with tea, cookies and the wonderful first book in the Precious Ramotswe series, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, by Alexander McCall Smith. Who knew? What a leisurely, pleasurable read, fit for a holiday.
